Times Like These

It certainly should come as no surprise to anyone that "in times like these" people are searching for answers to all their troubles.

I have been reading a lot of books the past few weeks addressing how to NOT get caught up personally in the present day world economy, the Government bailouts the negative things in the news etc.

This does not mean that I avoid knowing what's going on, it's just that I refuse to let it affect me personally.

I started by revisiting the Silva Learning Center. Many years ago, when I took a seminar it was called "Silva Mind Control". I started there because it was comfortable having gone thru it before.

The first time I was introduced to it was way back in the 70's and at that time it was something that certainly could not be considered "Main Stream. It's amazing how in the past 30 odd years since I first set foot in that seminar how widely accepted the Power of the Mind now is. Back then it was just something I did with a major leap of faith.

I was involved in one of the First ever Network Marketing companies "Holiday Magic".

Started by a true visionary Mr. William Penn Patrick. His company was multi-level and the product was fruit scented cosmetics. Quite frankly, people thought he was nuts.

The may have thought he was crazy, but my former husband and I got a taste of what Network Marketing could be like. We were in our twenties and earning upwards of $60,000 a month after our first year. It was amazing.

Tragically Mr. Patrick died in an airplane crash and that was the end of that.

I have been searching for many years to duplicate that success but I never found a product or an industry that I felt I could duplicate that kind of success.

That was until I found the Health and Wellness industry.

Then once I found the Industry I had to find a unique product and I finally found it.

So I am working on the power of Affirmations and reading all the Positive thinking books I can digest. I do know that every time I read one of Ester Hicks books I gain very helpful new ways to form my thinking.

For example if I am having a hard time with something I now start my thought with

"Wouldn't it be Nice if".

Also Every day I make a deposit and a withdrawal from a hypothetical check book to attract more money.
